Allegheny Station Closure for Maintenance This Weekend

On Saturday, Sept. 22 after 8 p.m. and all day Sunday, Sept. 23, Allegheny Station will be closed so that contractors may undertake winter preparations on the elevated platform, including applying concrete sealant.

A shuttle bus will operate between Allegheny Station and North Side Station during the closure.

Additionally, riders at Gateway headed to the North Shore must board from the outbound side during the closure due to required single-tracking. View detour notice.

Red Line rail grinding previously scheduled for this weekend in Beechview has been canceled, as has a Mt. Washington transit tunnel closure for buses and single-tracking for T.
