Buses Detour for Great Race on Sunday

During the 35th annual Richard S. Caliguri Great Race on Sunday, more than 30 Port Authority bus routes will be detoured and see temporary stop changes, mostly within Downtown, Uptown, Oakland and Squirrel Hill.

Detours will begin with the morning’s start of service. Regular service is expected to resume by about 1 p.m.
Riders should allow for extra time when traveling on detoured buses.

Additionally, two temporary special bus routes will operate during the race, the 5K and 10K, to provide service between Downtown and Oakland, and Downtown and Squirrel Hill, respectively. A brochure with more information on this service will be available at major schedule rack locations.
