Forward Thinking Closes this Friday

For the past four weeks, Port Authority invited transit riders and local citizens to join the conversation on the future of public transportation on the community engagement website Forward Thinking.  Thanks to more than 2,400 participants, Port Authority has collected more than 300 ideas to formulate a vision of what a modern transit system would look like for Allegheny County.

This Friday, June 13, Forward Thinking is wrapping up, but that doesn’t mean that the conversation is over. Later this year, Port Authority will give the community more opportunities to weigh in and participate in shaping our future. We are looking to the public to continue this conversation even after Forward Thinking ends.

Port Authority will be taking your comments and using them to help make future decisions on projects to enhance the rider experience and make the system more user-friendly. We’re committed to a new vision for Port Authority that is more transparent, accessible and modern.
