Transit Tunnel Closed to Buses Sunday Morning

The Mt. Washington Transit Tunnel will be closed to buses from about 5 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Sunday due to rail work.

Light rail service will be single-tracking between the Panhandle Bridge and South Hills Junction during this time, and inbound riders at Station Square and South Hills Junction must board from outbound platforms.

The 40 Mt. Washington, 41 Bower Hill, 44 Knoxville, Y46 Elizabeth Flyer and Y49 Prospect Flyer bus routes will be detoured. Riders traveling on these bus routes should allow for extra time.
