  1. HELP!!!! My elderly mom will not have bus service when a scheduled sewer upgrade takes effect in McKees Rocks on January 24, 2011. The 20 Kennedy bus will be rerouted down State Street, Clever Ave, Singer, Dorhman and Broadway, ten blocks away from my Mom''s home.
In the dead of winter, how will thousands of residents cope with this mass confusion? So many people will suffer from this construction

  2. Where is there a copy of what these new cuts are? I'm interested in knowing if my route is still scheduled for the ax.

  5. I take the G2 into Oakland from Crafton every day to study at Pitt. Now that the Oakland loop is eliminated, I will have to take a bus from Oakland down to Liberty Avenue, then transfer onto the G2 there. With night classes, that means I will have to wait, alone, at 9 or 10 p.m. downtown. There are students, doctors and nurses, and many elderly patients coming from Oakland out to Robinson every day, and we'll all be stranded if PAT removes this loop. Couldn't we at least allow the 28X to drop off on the West Busway going outbound? Or perhaps reinstate the 100 schedule, where a few buses ran only early mornings and evenings? I think many of us would prefer any service, over no service at all.

  6. I am one of the many people who often depend on a bus to get to work and my children need it to get to school. Our bus is on the list to be reduced as is the 2nd bus I take to work. When will the new times be announced? I will need notice if I need to look for another job because I don't have the proper bus service to get there.
